Ouroboros:.:

I beseech you, Mihr,
Why do you condemn me?

Has fate not been cruel to you?
Why then should you avast?
Hold your tongue, that you may be my folly.
Pray Mihr, that our paths do not cross.

Pray that Gavreel does not bestow his nature on us;
Under your breath, pray you also that his light cast not a shadow on the ground you step
His presence should not bathe in your company
Pray, young Mihr, that you will be cast from his divinity.

Plead with the stars under which you were conceived,
For all of the pleasures of the world,
Permit this one pass you.
Drink not of its cup; endow it to another.

Lost sheep never search their herder.
The moon never needed the waves.
In its vastness, the ocean never asked for its depth.
In its splendor, life never asked for sorrow.

Raise your glasses!
Drink your pain away and give your sorrow a name
Life is well, do you feel it?
Under it all, you find happiness in yourself.

I think I've finally figured this one out! Took a while....

If I'm not right on the dot with it at least you will know my interpretation of it.

Ouroboros-dangerous cycle of love/love lost

Mihr-Fernando (ultimately my own past when it comes to love and my tendency to leave the men in my life hurt)

"Hold your tongue that you may be my folly"- You are speaking of the danger that my past (my Mihr) tells you that you are risking....you don't want to know too much...you want to allow me to possibly be your foolish mistake

"Pray Mihr that our paths do not cross"- This I took as a double meaning both referring to Fernando in that you didn't want to see him again or have me involved with him any longer....second meaning being that you also don't want to become another man in my "cycle"

Gavreel: ME, making peace with Fernando....re-establishing some sort of relationship, whether intimately or on friendly terms

"Pray that Gavreel does not bestow his nature upon us" - you saying to Fernando that he should hope just as much as you do that I do not continue to involve him in my life

"Pray you also that his light does not cast a shadow on the ground you step"- telling Fernando to simply accept that he and I are done, but to not let the hurt hold him down forever from loving others again

"his presence should not bathe..."- telling Fernando that peace with me will only lead to more torture for him, because I will never love him the way that he still wishes I would

"Permit this one pass you..."-telling Fernando to let me go, finally

"Drink not of it's cup, endow it to another"- the ITS being me and the ANOTHER being you
you are telling/asking Fernando to finally the pass the cup to you, his drink is over

Stanza 5:(I will tell you what I read the symbolism in each line of the stanza to be...)

1. Her relationship with you was out of her own innocence/ignorance/naivety and she will never find you again
2. She never needed your influence to shine or to make an impact. You are not her guidance, or as important as you imagine yourself to be.
3. She didn't ask for the complexity in her past with her family, depression, and other things that shaped her
4. (reiterating the previous line) she didn't ask for the sorrow

LAST STANZA:
you tell Fernando to accept his sorrow with me and learn from it, it's not the end of the world, and he will/should find his happiness and it won't come from ME but from with in himself.

---------------------------------

Don't know how accurate at all this is to what you meant to convey buuuut this was my interpretation of it.

Tell me what the reality of it is, please :)
